Treatment for Osteoporosis

This is a very common disease that is characterized by low bone mass and skeletal fragility, resulting in an increased risk of fractures to a person's bones.  Our staff will appropriately screen patients to identify certain treatment options for individuals who are at increased risk of sustaining low trauma fractures.

Epidural injections are administered to the patient in an effort to block the transmission of signals through nerves in or near the spinal cord. We provide a variety of epidural treatments such as caudal, cervical, lumbar and thoracic epidurals.

Nerve Conduction Studies and Electromyography are tests that measure muscle and nerve functions on patients experiencing numbness, tingling and burning sensations. Administered consecutively, these tests can show how well your nerves and muscles work by applying mild electrical currents to the skin. The measured electrical activity allows the physician to properly diagnose your symptoms.

Facet Injections

Facet injections help alleviate inflammation and diminish pain caused by an inflamed joint. Medication is directly injected into the swollen, irritated joint. We provide a variety of facet injections, including cervical facet, lumbar facet and thoracic facet injections.
